Although, the objective of shooting a basketball is to score, swish or bank, all the great shooter’s have the ability to find “all net”. It is a sign of a truly accurate shooter.

There are some shooters that can maintain a good percentage even though their shots are not finding “all net” very often. However, they are likely to be limited to only a “good percentage” at best. Typically, shooter’s with few “all net” shots and a good percentage are shooting with much more precision than their percentage represents. They are essentially making the basketball in a smaller target. The cause is a low arc creating a low angle of ball entry through the rim. It basically reduces the net-able area in the rim.
